Campaign finance regulations require us to ask for and report the donor’s company and occupation for all donations over $100. This information is gathered and stored by Campaign Countdown. Neither Campaign Countdown or The Committee to Elect Janie Doe will share, sell, or rent any of your information to other organizations, including other political campaigns. Donations are made through third-party payment processors (PayPal, Stripe, etc.) on a secure form. Neither The Committee to Elect Janie Doe or Campaign Countdown has access to your credit card, debit card, bank account, or other payment information.

How long we retain your data

At the close of this fundraiser, Campaign Countdown will provide all donor records to The Committee to Elect Janie Doe, and we will retain your data indefinitely. Campaign Countdown will delete all personal data from their database when our fundraiser is closed.

What rights you have over your data

You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you by contacting our office. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, tax, or security purposes.
